Redmond Police Department

Our department consists of approximately 130 employees who are responsible for providing excellent law enforcement services to our community. We respond to approximately 500 calls for service each week while practicing a very community oriented/problem solving style of policing. Redmond Police Department is very proud to hold ourselves accountable to the accreditation standards recommended by the Washington Association of Sheriffs and Police Chiefs (WASPC).

We recruit, hire, and train high caliber employees and encourage career development to meet the varied challenges faced in law enforcement. We continuously foster relationships and collaboration with private sector security, businesses, apartment complexes, neighborhoods, schools, faith communities, and other city departments.
