A Community Inspired and Connected by Arts and Culture
The Redmond Arts and Culture Commission (RACC) is a nine-member, Mayor-appointed, Council-confirmed advisory commission. The Commission advises the City on arts policies and programming and sponsors programs in tandem with the Redmond Parks and Recreation Department and community organizations.

There are currently two commission vacancies for Redmond residents living within the city limits (98052). If you are interested in applying, please download the Community Service Application below, fill out and return the Community Service Application along with your Resume to the Mayor's Office at firstname.lastname@example.org.
There is no deadline for applications, but interested residents are encouraged to submit an application by February 6, 2017.

Become a Youth Advocate
Youth Advocates give input to the Arts and Culture Commission on matters such as programming and art in the community. They lend important perspective to the Redmond Arts and Culture Commission, learn about public service, network and serve within the arts community, and explore career opportunities.
- Are you 16-26 years old and live, work or study in Redmond?
- Do you want to network with others in the arts community?
- Would you like to share your views about culture in your community?
- Do you want to get involved with the visual, performing, or literary arts?
- Do you have three to four hours per month to serve your community?
