2015 King County Regional Hazard Mitigation Plan (KCRHMP) Update
Redmond is a partner in the King County Regional HMP update, which includes 57 local governments. Redmond City Council Adopted the plan in City of Redmond Resolution number 1421 on March 3, 2015. FEMA review and final approval was completed May 1, 2015.

The King County Basic Plan (435 pages) outlines hazards for the entire region.
The Redmond Annex, Chapter 20 of Volume 2c, (55 pages) provides Redmond-specific information including history of natural hazard events, hazard risk ranking, hazard mitigation action plan and mitigation strategy priority; demographic data; and hazard maps related to critical infrastructure, liquefaction susceptibility, National Earthquake Hazard Reduction Program Soil Classification, flood hazard, and fire fuel behavior.
2009 Redmond Hazard Mitigation Plan
The Redmond Hazard Mitigation Plan (HMP) Update for 2009 - 2014 was reviewed and approved by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). Redmond City Council subsequently adopted the plan in City of Redmond Resolution Number 1314 on December 15, 2009.
