Recreation Building Master Plan
The City operates four recreation facilities: the Old Redmond School House Community Center, the Redmond Senior Center, the Old Fire House Teen Center, and the Redmond Pool. These facilities vary in condition, age, use, and ownership. The City is evaluating the buildings, programs and operations. The result of the master plan study will include recommendations and alternatives for the best use of our buildings, new facility options and cost estimates. The City is projected to grow significantly over the next ten years, adding nearly 20,000 residents and 30,000 jobs. Our goal is to provide Redmond residents with safe, quality, well-maintained recreation facilities that meet current and future needs for recreation, fitness, wellness, lifetime learning and social connection.
