Redmond, WA
—The Redmond Fire Department, along with crews from Bellevue, Duvall, Eastside Fire, Kirkland, and Woodinville, battled a two alarm fire in the 25500 block of NE 67th Place in Redmond earlier this morning.

A neighbor reported the fire shortly before 9:00 a.m. this morning. When firefighters arrived the home was 50% fully engulfed with no residents of the home nearby. Crews learned from neighbors that the occupants were out of town at the time, but the family had four dogs and two cats. Four dogs were unharmed, but the two cats are unaccounted for at this time.

The cause of the fire is unknown and currently under investigation. There were no injuries during the incident.
