City Expands Parking Options in Downtown Redmond

Redmond, WA - The City of Redmond has expanded downtown parking to provide more options for City residents, visitors and the business community. Parking enhancements include an expansion to the City’s monitored parking program and the addition of a new downtown paid parking lot.

Monitored On-street Parking Program:
Downtown Redmond’s monitored on-street parking area will continue to promote parking access that will benefit businesses and sustain economic vitality. The boundary has been expanded to the east and south and is more inclusive of the downtown’s urban center. On-street parking permits are available for a $50 monthly purchase by calling Diamond Parking at 425-556-2433, and then press Option 1. For more detailed information regarding the City’s parking ordinance view the Ordinance 2717 under Parking Ordinances and Resolutions.

Paid Parking Lot:
The new downtown paid parking lot is adjacent to the Redmond Central Connector and is located at 7541 Leary Way NE at the corner of Bear Creek Parkway and Leary Way. Users can enter the lot off Bear Creek Parkway. The new lot adds an additional 92 parking spaces and is an ideal location for visitors to the Redmond Saturday Market, accessing the Redmond Central Connector trail and patrons to downtown businesses. The lot is open 24-hours a day, 7 days a week and is monitored Monday-Friday from 9 a.m. – 7 p.m. All vehicles must register at the pay machine and pricing varies from $1 up to $5 for all day parking, with the first hour free.
