. Redmond's official housing count showed 592 new homes by April 2015 for a total of 26,141 homes. The median size of a single-family home increased to 3,194 square feet in 2014, including attached and detached homes. The City added 96 new affordable homes in 2014, 22 of which were created through Redmond’s affordable housing regulations.
